I'm Grace. I'm a little bit random and completely crazy. This is me trying to lose the sophomore fifteen. We'll see what happens.
Also: if I follow you, or comment on your stuff, it'll show up as my main blogs URL, oxymoronical. Just so you're not confused!

Rainy Day Fitness!
As the weather gets colder and rainier we’re all going to have to start thinking about ways to stay fit and active when we can’t get outside. These are some of my favorite ways to get moving no matter what the skies are up to (love puns). Some of them are things you can do easily from home and some are ways to try something new and exciting. No matter how many days the weather remains uncooperative your fitness & health don’t have to suffer!

Day 44: Food and Workout

Breakfast: Oatmeal with brown sugar, green tea.

Lunch: Carrots, Scooby Snacks, grapes, and Honey Nut Cheerios

Dinner: 2 eggs scrambled with cheese and milk.

Indulgences: 2 marshmallows, and probably a bowl of miniwheats with a touch of fruit or popcorn…I’m about 500 calories under today.  Eek!

Workout: HIIT on the treadmill, and 7 exercise machines.

You know what’s crazy?  If I’d given up on Monday, when I had a bad day, I wouldn’t have had today, which was a good day.  If I’d given up the first week, 8 weeks ago, when I was tired and sleeping on the couch, I wouldn’t be here.

I’m so glad to be here.

Day 42: Food and Workout

Breakfast: Oatmeal with 2 teaspoons of brown sugar and a pinch of cinnamon, green tea.

Lunch: Carrots, grapes, Honey Nut Cheerios, a fruit snack, and pretzels.

Dinner: I made a kind of taco salad…lots of lettuce, some crushed-up tortilla chips, cheese, beef, a little bit of beans, and salsa.  Yum.

Indulgences: A bowl of Mini-Wheats Touch of Fruit!

Workout: Ugh.  Bad day.  I’m still pretty sick, and I’ve started to HATE the treadmill.  I did a little HIIT: 1 minute at 6.0 mph, then 45 seconds at 8 mph, repeated 5 times. Then I ran the last 10 minutes at 6 mph until the last 5 minutes, kicking up my mph by 0.5 every 2 minutes.  But then I went to do weights and I did only 3 machines, and I couldn’t even do my 12 reps in each set…ugh.  Tomorrow.  Better.  It will be.

Also, I was reading my journal…I haven’t changed in height since middle school, but junior year of high school I was between 118-122 (as I wrote) but I felt so insecure about my body weight and I felt fat.  Now?  At 124 I feel a whole hell of a lot less fat.  I feel pretty freaking awesome.
